Have you put the heat on yet? We always try to wait until the start of October, so tomorrow we're in for a treat! If you live outside of Northern Europe, this might not be too relevant just yet🌤️

October definitely signals a change in season with the cooler mornings, less daylight and the build up to Halloween. Make sure to add seasonality into your content to make it relatable to what is going on in the world and show your human side.

Ever piece of content you produce should give your followers some kind of value. If they like what they see they'll keep coming back to you for more. This is all part of the customer journey that leads your audience to doing business with you.

5 Awareness Day themed content ideas for October

Here's some inspiration to help you get going with your October content planning:

1. Give something back to your customers. Share a customer testimonial or highlight the service side to your business during National Customer Service Week (3rd)
2. The cost of living crisis is on all our minds at the moment. Share tips, tricks or FAQs with your followers on how to make finances go further. This could link in nicely with Energy Efficiency Day (6th).
3. Remind followers that the  clocks go back (30th) and create an animation using Canva or Biteable.
4. Share a fun or interesting fact from your industry or business on World Statistics Day (20th)
5. Two days feature on the built environment: World Architecture Day (17th) and World Cities Day (31st). A nice way to hook in some behind the scenes content on where you live and work.
